As I sat on the rock at the shore
My heart sang a romantic score
I closed my eyes
And felt the waves on my lips
It was reminiscent of what we did when together,
How we shared our love together!

The rain as it dropped on the scorched earth
To satisfaction it gave birth
Just as I was satisfied by your touch
A touch so meaningful, so full of love
And a caring touch!

As I saw the drops dancing on the surface of the sea
I remembered how I danced with thee
Danced till the music could no more go on
That was the night -
I would cherish life long!

As I was still at the shore
The rain stopped and the sky cleared
I was drenched in rain and in your love
You were not with me
But I felt you all around and within me!

Reminiscence, a feeling so wonderful
Living life again,
As if its never gone by
Life so meaningful
With your memories still by my side!!
