MY MORNINGS AND NIGHTS

If it is the afterglow
Of the morning Sun
Which makes the morning
I can have the morning
At noon
Or even at midnight
For
The brilliance and
Radiance of your face,
Or your  smile
Would render  the
Afterglow
Of the morning Sun
A pale shadow

If
It is the darkness
Interspersed with the light of Moon
As it floats in and out of clouds
Which makes the night
I can have my nights
Even in the morn, or noon
For
The shadows of your eyelashes
And your locks
As you put
Your face on my chest
Interspersed with the
Brightness of your face
As you look into my eyes
Could make Moon look
Artificial on a studio set
Bidding me bye...

The fact remains
My mornings and nights
Are, but related to
Your presence around me

My mornings
Wake up
To the light in your
Eyes
And my nights set in
To the dreams
Floating out of your soul
Engulfing me
And gracefully
Filling up the fields of my vision

So that
I can see you
With my eyes closed or open
And I love you

 all the more for it
