INSIDE THE CHALICE

We can choose or choose not
Remain silent and keep what we got.

Some things are once and never come back
Earthly life, death and time and these are facts.

We put more into our minds than we ever take out
Visions and good thoughts is what life is all about.

If the first of anything was to be the last
It would have no future nor would it have a past.

Choice between good and evil resides in our mind
Children should be our reason for life unless we are blind.

We speak the good talk and know the appropriate words
Yet fail to understand the meaning of the flowers and the birds.

It is not who we were or why we came
Rather how we got to where we are and who we became.

Life is composed of energy, chemicals and matter too
Components of universal life including me and you.

The creator gave mankind the gifts to discover and also to find
Only humanity has thoughts of time and energy stored in their minds.
