A SHARED DREAM

Birds sing
From pine branch
And olive bough.
We hear different songs
But share joy in the music.

People walk
On country road
And city street.
They speak different tongues
But share the same hopes.

Prayers rise
In church
And in mosque.
They give God different names
But may all know His goodness.

Hearts beat
In East
And in West.
We may be far apart
But we seek the same love.
