High above this
world I sit
that's where I am always to be
I know it will not you befit
to squander your love on me.
I am the silver
threads
God casts down from the heights
I'm torn into shreds,
and the whole world delights.
I am the velvety
wetness
and all passion such as this
of a lover's warm caress.
I am every single kiss.
I am each of the
pearls
scattered from the angel's crown.
All the misery heaven hurls,
I in myself drown.
I'm the last of the
rain's tears
that makes everything rejoice.
I patiently hide my fears.
And the yearning to hear your voice.
In my heart there's
immense pain
You my life will forever lack,
In my footsteps, hurt and sadness agin.
Death has taken me. Who shall bring me back?
