Presents Given and Gifts Received

Give us guidance so we may believe
For the thoughts, words and actions not to deceive.

A baby will always be a picture to us
Your gift of continuity as part of the human trust.

May what we do be good and also true
That our actions be beneficial and pleasing to you.

It certainly matters but the future is not ours
For the past and present we have seen your earthly flowers.

I have seen, felt and dreamed, more than I could have expected
Occasional visions, a thought and a touch; never rejected.

I believe we have an image of the creator one Godly face
Even if we are unworthy it is the shield for our human race.

We cannot understand nor will our God ask
Only to treat each other as brother and sister is our earthly task.

We cannot understand nor will God ever ask
Only to treat each other as brother and sister, is our earthly task.

We make life so complex with the meaning of human words
Not to understand even Christ; when he spoke about the flowers and birds.

All our western world of ologies, gist's and ism's
Keep the human mind bound and locked up as if in a prison
