Lazy I am
Lazy!!! ...... Am I?
Moving at a fast pace
All are joining the mad rat race!

Winners is what they aspire to be
They don't mind becoming rats, you see !
"Work hard" - is what they advise
And then in status you shall rise.

Hard work is what a dumb donkey does!!
Slogging all day to earn his meal of grass
They say - "An early bird catches the worm"
Stupid worm, he should have slept at home!!!

Newton was lazy and so was James Watt!
Have you ever given this a thought?
If Newton hadn't been dozing under the apple tree
The world would have no 'Law of Gravity' !!!

Watt idled his time looking at the kettle
The result - a faster mode of travel !!
Wordsworth's lazing beneath the oak tree
Has given the world the best romantic poetry!!

And you my dear fellow bards
Laze with poetic thoughts and don't work hard...
