Hamne to dil ko girvi rakhkar saansein udhaar lein
Tanhayee apni hamsafar hai-teri aahat se kahin who bhi na kho jaaye

Tumne jid jab thaan li hai -ein gali-kuchon mein aane ki
Kuchh sapne bhi shayad gire hon-dekhana kahin chur na ho jaayen

Main bahut pasheman hun- kyonki yeh gali jara tang hai
Tumhe raas bhi na aayegi- tum naahak chale aaye

Mujhko lagta hai ki ab tera saath bhi chhutega
Mujhko ab shayad hi chaaho- jab meri ruh ke ru-ba-ru aaye

Tread carefully through the corridors of memories. The bitterness - the
palpitating pain is scattered around like broken glass-your feet may get
hurt.

My desires, which could not soar high-, are lying low there. The breeze from
your apparel will tease and torment them once again.

Under your persistent prying, pages of my life would become open one by one
and I will feel naked, defenseless.

I bargained my heart in lieu of keeping the body alive. Now solitude is my
only companion-and your footsteps will make me lose even my loneliness- my
only companion.

Now that you are determined to traverse this path- do take care. Some dreams
might have fallen on this path- please see that they do not get crushed.

I apologize if you find the path narrow or uncomfortable. I know that you
are not used to it. You have come on a whim and it will do you no good.

I feel now we will have to part company because once you know the ins and
out of my being you may not find me attractive enough.
