Sugandhit hua sara van

Tere alingan mein jaun samaa

Kyun man mein tere vaasna jagi

Jisme beeta tera bachpan
In icchaon ko Bairagi tyag
Moh nidra se ab tu jaag
Param Brahma mein ho tu leen
Naad swar ka sun tu been
Kya main kya tu sab hain ek
Ahankaar se bane anek

Sun Devi ke krodhit vani
Yogi ke man bhara glani
Liya aasan kiya woh dhyan
Tab mila usse Brahm gyan
Tapasya se samadhi paya
Yogi Devi mein ja samaya
 

Your eyes like the two halves of a mango
The vermilion on your forehead afire
Fragrant as the sandal your body
Fills this forest with perfume
My mind now filled with desire
Devi to you I offer
My whole life
Come embrace me Devi
That I may lose myself in you

Devi said listen Bairagi
Why is your mind filled with lust
Aren't these the very breasts
That suckled you when you were young
Shed your desires
Wake up from your illusory dream
Lose yourself in the cosmic stream
Listen to the cosmic sound
For in fact we are one
It's your own ego that makes you someone

Hearing Devi's angry words
The yogi was filled with shame
He sat down to meditate
Cosmic knowledge to assimilate
When his penance was done
Devi and the yogi became one
