Na dil samaj paya aur na hum, ki kya likhei Likhdi hei humnei duvaiye hazaro unkei naam Neither my heart nor did I understandd, what I should write So I just wrote thousand of good wishes for him Likhna chahte thei bahut par sabd hi na milei Khat mei likh bheja humnei apna ek kalaam I wished to write many things but didn’t find the words So I wrote a poem of love and sent the letter to him Socha tha ki ek gulaab saath bhej denge hum Par unkei naam mein bhi toe mahek nahi hei kum First I thought to sending a rose with it But then his name itself has the fragrance Daakiya aisa dhundhe kanha se hum, jo aaj hi ponhchaiye Sapno mei jaa kar apne haath se dei aaye hum Where can I get a postman who will deliver my letter today So I went into dreams and gave the letter with my own hand Aaj bhi aankh bandh kar jabh sapne dekhte hei hum Haath mei khat liye muskurate najar aatei hei sanam Today even when I close my eyes and see a dream I see him holding my letter and a smile on his face. ~ Ritu~
