Koi naya chahne waala phir
raatein rangeen banayega
jismon ki numaaish mein honge

For how long this helplessness
for how long the drinks of sorrow
your memories overwhelm before the start of the day
even after the whole night was spent in suffering for you

Oh you stone hearted ones
please don't drink the nectar of budding flowers
for these beautiful things will decimate
with cindering wishes and fantasies

There you sleep in castles
for me is the bed of thorns
in the shadows of dark lonely nights
the wounds of fond memories will hurt but for how long

I don't mind going to sleep in the grave
only there is no one to cover it with dust
shameless eyes are emitting heat
which fuel feeling but for how long?

There may be a new lover
to make your nights colourful
in the exhibition of bodies
there may be new buyers but for how long
