Jiss chirag ko apney dum sey jalayaa hai

ussi chirag ney mera aashiyaan  jalayaa hai

bachati thi jissko hawa key aik jhonkey sey bhi

ussi ney aaj mujhey, tufaan mein phansaaya hai

The flame of love which I kept alive with my breath

That flame has burnt my world to cinders

Has today left me in the midst of a raging storm
