I don’t understand you life, I forget again and again

You give new colors of pain to the heart again and again

Aaj khamosh waqt, yahan thahara hua hai tanha

beetay huye lamhe kyun bulaatay hain baar baar

Today unspoken time is standing here still and alone

Why do moments of past keep calling me again and again

Koi mehfil hii nahin, dil ke nagmon ke bina

koshish me hansi ki chhalakey hain baar baar

There is no get-together without the songs of heart

Striving for laughter they do splash again and again

daaman mei chhupa kar jo, rakh lete hain aansoo

bikhrey huye armaano pe sambhaltay hain baar baar

People who conceal their tears in layers of veils

On the stretch of desires, they walk thoughtfully again and again

Raat ke aanchal par koi dard likha hai shayad

 thirak rahey hain taarey gunguna ke baar baar

 May be there is a pain written over the shade of night

 Stars are singing and dancing those tunes again and again
