Yet why do you seem to mean so much,

I am not with you

But then, why do you seem to be with me

 

Just like the open expanses of the skies

That enfolds one and all,

Why do you

Continue to enfold me to yourself;

 

I stand still, bound within my boundaries

Do not erase my boundaries,

That ONE I seek

Do not make yourself that him;

 

Your unending flow

Is not like the soft breeze that courses

But it is more like the rippling stream

That sings while seemingly not singing;

 

Oh do not infuse so much

Affection in to my loneliness,

Do not pour your entire world

Into mine and entangle it so

 

You are like a free bird in the open skies

Flying free wherever you would

I am one that has no desire to fly

Nor would I be able to… so do not call me

 

Your world is like an unfurled wrap

That sweeps one and all into its warmth

I wear just one garment

Which is non inviting and invites none

 

And yet, you are there and not:

It is all beyond my comprehension

Who, what and whence you come from

But, still you remain, and remain not
