Uss ki mohabbat ka huwa hai

mujh pe assar hay allah

Meine uss ko dekha bas eik

nazar hay allah

Darwaaze pe khari ho kar mein

ussi hi ki soch mein doobi thi

Magar door se woh mujhe dekh

raha tha chup chup kar hay allah

Uss ki intizar mein thi mein bahut

dinon se eik din aayi mujhe uss ki

aane ki khabar hay allah

Raaste bhare lambe thei aur

mannzil ka bhi pata nahin tha

Lekin haseen tha samaan aur

suhaana tha mera safar hay allah

His love has effected  me oh god

I only saw him once oh god

Standing by the door I was lost in his thoughts

He was watching me quietly from far oh god

I was waiting for him for days

one day the news of his coming

came oh god

The paths were very long and the

destination was not to be seen

But the weather was beautiful

and my journey was nice oh god
