What is a "platonic relationship" really?
A “platonic relationship”…mmm something to ponder, For years this matter has left many to wonder; Is it possible? I would say, yes, perhaps As long as emotions were kept under wraps. It isn’t always passion to which we’re inclined, It’s nice to be appreciated for the mind. The secret, of course, is to be aware The cross-over line will always be there. Ah, that’s the rub! A tricky one, too, Can it be avoided? I leave that to you! ~Twilah~

Platonic relations can surely exist, and drift us together till emotions subsist Passion, though is an ambiguous word, and it may leave our vision blurred It is indeed a cogent emotion and can be found, in every nook and corner Life, without it would be, but won't it add some more glee? Isn't it like salt and pepper for it makes a butterfly flutter For some, it's topping on dessert, its absence may be sumptuous too, but won't it bestow added pleasure? As I think that when 2 people luv each other They have a passion for each other which lives for long It's not just passion but also Happiness It's not just happiness but also luv It's all a mixture of all the feelings When luv blends with passion with trust with eagerness And all the insecurities leave And a sense of belongingness comes. But a platonic relationship is incomplete without all these feelings. ~Ginny~

Platonic relationships do exist Till loves advances you resist But sometimes that becomes hard to do And love does come crawling through The relationship changes, so do you When in come words such as ‘I Love You’ Now the ball is in your court, it’s your call Whether you wish to continue as ‘Platonic Friends’ or change it all Life is short, take a chance The music is playing, take this dance Love is a gamble, play your game Maybe at the end of it you’ll have a different surname!!!

Unless the spark is there to ignite, It's friends we're to forever be; Oftentimes the end of a love affair In time will resurface platonically.
Then there's the one-sided story, He loves her, she's completely unaware... In her eyes he's just a good "friend," In his, there's none to ever compare.
Platonic relationships will always exist, Deep friendships are formed that way, Some just may evolve into lasting love, While others remain to the dying day.

It is just like river banks;two of them. THEY RUN PARALLEL: FOR EVER. But they go through all the rough and tumble TOGETHER EQUALLY.
