Press-Free I wonder how free the press should be At the turn of this crazy century Pages featuring blood, Bush and gore Day after day and much more in store Then suddenly there is page 3 Colorful pictures of celebrities Where they went …what they ate and wore Tell us everything, we beg for more Where most have nothing to wear and eat Not just on weekends, all through the week No place to go, no roof on their heads They can’t lie down and dream…they have no beds The have-nots may languish, the have-s shall flaunt Isn’t Page 3 exactly what we deserve and want? ~Brittle~
So true, What more can I ask? Page 3 that spices up life And makes the bells ring But beyond this page If you dare to look up A small column toward the end Though not as colourful Which speaks about The unknown martyr His sacrifices on the border So that you and I can smile True and flawless work That relates to truth Maybe that’s why Our interests in Press still persist.

Am not a news paper fan For often news is deadpan Giving us a black white pic Of issues most banal or sick So what the images are bright Reveal they naught worthwhile If to know your world you seek Simply outside your window peek It lies spread ready to be embraced Beauty, fear, squalor, gore or grace If to live our life worthwhile we’d try I think, beyond the printed word it lies ~ Glowing Embers ~
Read all about it, get
the latest news ~ Tango ~
Oh God, please CS-24852 No I have not gone crazy But Sometimes there’s a supplement A rather special one Full of numbers Trembling hands Clasping the paper Eyes full of hope Scanning it left to right Results Of, the entrance exam Were almost there There is so much to it Desire, hope, dreams and ambitions All lie concealed in the, Fine print- Black and white
