IS THE MUSIC IS OVER?

You played me once so long ago...
I the violin you the bow.
The strains of that music still tug at the tender chords of my broken heart
That haunting music I hear again,
the same tune the same refrain
Me in your arms...our love was sweet music
My strings so pliant to your touch
Do you hear it too... or am I alone in my bliss?
Could it be an echo, the tune already done?
Or is it just the memory of the times when we had
fun
the strain of Love fights shy of profane eye and seeks refuge Titanic like in the psychic heart
In solitude I cherish those blissful moments of yore
like thirsty oceans reaching out to kiss the shore
Is it the echo of the notes from the strings of my heart , or was it really
the violin ?
The violin lies in its case unused, as is my heart pierced with its music
abused
Have you forgotten the music we made when on my strings you lovingly played?
Have the rising tides of your love satiated your desires to start another melody
? Or has what was once harmony become discord?
Let's once again play the same lilting tunes ,the sweet strains solacing our hearts ruffled plumes
But the memory of our music seems dim, and chances of an encore slim.
