Waiting...

Time flies of very easily

Easily when you are spending it with someone

Time seems like, years passing by in a minute

Years when you are all alone waiting for someone to come.

It’s the worst thing that happens to a person,

Thousands of thoughts strike as lightening,

Your designer watch stops working,

As you stand lonely on the road.

Waiting for people is bad

It’s worse when you wait for replies.

A lover dies every moment waiting for...

For a yes as an answer to his proposal.

Or maybe

A person who has asked for help for the first time

That wait seems like a crime that he has committed

For which now he has to repay

By waiting for answers to come.

The loneliness and solitude bite you

Company of dear friends gets to you

The call of the need at that moment

Is waiting for an appropriate person to come.

It seems though time is also ticking slowly, stopped

In the wait for a person, a reply to come.

I wish I knew how...

I wish I knew how to wait

I wish I knew how

I wish I knew how to put into a jar these emotions

And throw into the deep sea……..

I wish I knew how to wait
