Dear Friend...

When I'm low and don't know what to do

I just have to close my eyes and picture you;

And I'm on my high again

Just as the rainbow appears after the rain.

When I'm confused and on the verge where I'll break

You help me sort things out, for I have decisions to make;

And then the biggest smile appears on my face

And adds value to my grace.

When I've lost all hope and to perceive things I've lost sight

You come as a ray of light and make things go absolutely right;

And then vanish all my reasons for dismay

Since you come as the silver lining on the cloud of grey.

When I'm happy and overjoyed

All I have to do is give a call to you

For its my happiness that I want to share

With someone who really cares.

Friends like you

Are very few;

Who are genuine and never pretend

Whose friendship you want to treasure till the end.

For all the times that you've stood by me

And with your love and care, the beautiful world that you've made me see;

Words that hold meaning to the heart and come from within are very few
