A Friend

A Friend

She's always been a friend,
we are so very close,
and we both had some problems,
probably more than most,
we share something special,
something no one can take,
she and I are more than friends,,
with her there's nothing to fake,
I know I can count on her,
at anytime of night,
and any advice she gives me ,
I usually find is right,
she is a true friend,
one I can't replace,
she always helps to dry,
my often tear soaked face,
so thank you from deep inside,
for everything you've done,
we've made it through a lot together,
though it was not fun,
I don't regret the fights we've had,
it was worth the sacrifice,
you helped me help myself Amanda,
you helped me save my life.
