What
if?
What if the world was upside down, Every village, city and town. Then the houses would hang from the sky And the fishes would sing a lullaby. What if the sun shone at night And the moon rose in daylight; Then we would sleep in the day And at night we would play. What if the water was bright red And the grass was blue instead; Then our gardens would be violet And we would have a pink toilet. What if ate our books And our food we read; Then we would have no cooks And our libraries would be filled with bread. What if the children went to work And our parents went to school; Then our mums and dads will have homework. Wouldn’t that be really cool!
What if our bodies were inside out And we all grew a snout; Then we would be dressed like a pig And use our snouts to dig. What if we ate with our feet And wore shoes on our hand. You won’t believe it! But we are on Topsy Turvy Land.
