The Archies Have you ever read an Archie book ? I’ve even seen one, read by a crook ! They are such fun They keep us on the run, And much, much better, Than playing with a gun Archie is the wonderful fellow, And so are all his friends But he never has money, So his trouble never ends. His girlfriend is Veronica, She’s a rich kid, She’s pretty and sly But never timid. Betty longs to go with Archie on a date But when he makes a date, He's always late. Reggie is a big show off, When he talks, everyone nods off. Jughead likes eating and sleeping, He doesn't like chores, He is great fun And his comic never bores. The big and strong guy, Is Big Moose, If he gets into a fight, He will never lose. His girlfriend is that adorable Midge, He met her when she was on a bridge. Big Ethel is always after Jughead, I guess she’ll be after him, Even when they're both dead. The nice boy is Chuck, In baseball he has a lot of luck.
