Adventure

I had packed my kit,

I was ready to go,

all I was waiting for was my order.

Can you guess what it was?

A little plane for me to fly.

Well it soon came, and I flew into the unknown,

banking or rolling,

I weared the day off.

So when night came, I landed, on a field,

fed my plane oil,

then went to sleep.

I took off the next day,

now feeling bored,

but a plan got kindled,

as I spied some cattle.

I swooped down low,

I gave them a fright,

before I rolled upwards, laughing,

nearly killing myself in the process.

I soon flew back home and entered the house,

and I suddenly heard a title song blare.

I had never taken my feet off the ground,

I had merely dreamed,

of the fantasies of one’s life,

of those short fascinating moments,

when one gets to dream.
